How to Sow

Sow directly in prepared beds or in seed trays for transplanting. Small seeds: sprinkle on the surface and press gently (do not bury). Medium/large seeds: sow ¼–½ inch deep. Space according to expected mature size of plants; thin seedlings or transplant when they have 2–4 true leaves. Water gently and keep soil evenly moist until seedlings establish.

Sowing Temperature & Season

Ideal germination temperature: 15°C–30°C (varies by variety). In Pakistan, best sowing windows are late winter to spring (February–April) for spring–summer blooms and autumn (September–October) for cool-season mixes. Adjust timing by local microclimate and the specific varieties in your mix.

Soil & Care

Use light, well-drained soil mixed with compost or coco peat. Provide full sun to partial shade depending on the component species (most mixes prefer 4–8 hours sun). Water regularly but avoid waterlogging. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming and apply light organic feed every 3–4 weeks for best performance.
