Description
The Beith-Alpha cucumber, also known as the Lebanese cucumber, is short, smooth, and shiny. It is often harvested very small, so there’s no need to peel the very thin skin. It keeps well and has a mild, non-bitter flavor.
Sow 2-3 seeds 1 cm deep, in rows 1 m apart. For an early harvest, sow in pots under glass and transplant after the frost. Cucumbers require plenty of warmth, moisture, and light.
