Description
Topepo Rosso is an old, popular Italian variety. These crunchy, sweet, and spicy peppers resemble beefsteak tomatoes!
They’re perfect for pickling or adding to a salad, but you can also stuff them. They make a great (and delicious!) side dish for a barbecue.
Sow indoors in February/March at 22°C in trays. Prick out the seedlings after four to eight weeks. At the end of April, the plants can be transplanted into a greenhouse or under plastic. After mid-May, you can also plant them outdoors in a sunny, wind-protected spot. Harvest from July to October.
