Description
Small peppers with an intense red color and a spicy flavor. Round fruits of 3-4 cm.
Originating in southern Italy, it’s often stuffed with anchovies and mozzarella cheese. It ripens from green to dark red. Fruity flavor. As spicy as a Cayenne pepper: 40,000 to 50,000 SHU, but loses 60% of its heat when cooked.
Sow indoors in pots from February to March at a temperature of 20°C, in a bright location. Plant out in the ground in early May at a spacing of 50 by 50 cm.
